STUDENTS EXCHANGE:

ECIB - Escuela de Cine de  Barcelona - has a students exchange agreement with TEA Imagen de Buenos Aires Argentina –www.teaimagen.com.ar-, and AFDA (Sudáfrica) www.afda.co.za, which gives our students the opportunity to study abroad, to exchange and have a new life experience with students from other countries and cultures. They receive a certificate from the partner school at the end of term.

LIBRARY:

ECIB has an important library available to all students, graduates and professors which they can consult for the development of their projects.

NEWSPAPER ARCHIVE:

The school is subscribed to the most important – national and international – publications about film-making and audio-visual techniques. During the term, the students, graduates and professors can have access to this service and use it as a technical support for their formation.

VIDEO LIBRARY:

ECIB gives the students, graduates and professors an access to an important video collection. More than 1.000 titles in classic films, contemporary fiction, documentary, Spanish cinema, short films and Latin cinema.

PRACTICES:

As part of the theory-practical formation, ECIB has agreements with the most important producers in the film-making and television industry in Cataluña. Students have the opportunity to participate in these practices which give them a close experience with the working environment.

JOB VACANCIES:

Every day professionals need more and more qualified people to work on their productions. The school works as a bridge for the students, giving to them the opportunity to take the offers sent by the producers.

PROJECTS TUTORIAL:

ECIB students receive the professors’ help and the school’s infrastructure support for those who want to develop their own audio-visual projects outside of term.

PRODUCER:

ECIB also works as a producer. Besides choosing the projects to be developed during the term, the school helps to develop the students’ ideas, from script to shooting until  post-production. ECIB also sends the students’ short films to National and International Film Festivals.

STUDENT CARD:

ECIB gives each student a card that gives him benefits and discounts in different places such as cinemas, libraries, Film Festivals, music and clothes stores, bars, and more.
